Color Workshop with Roses
Join Kathleen Speranza on a five-session exploration of the exquisite color range of garden roses. Each of the classes focuses on a single hue.

If you are already versed in the principles of color matching and mixing, the workshop will give you the opportunity to practice, refine and go deeper. If you are relatively new to color, you will learn the fundamentals you need to identify and mix colors for virtually any subject you wish to paint.
Learn to paint the colors you see
Each day Kathleen works with a different variety of flower to complete a five-part color sequence. You may choose to paint along with her, or simply observe and create your work after the class.
Step by step and with camera close-ups, Kathleen demonstrates how the logic of the Munsell system can help you identify and mix even the most subtle of tones. From "white" through yellow, yellow/red, red and red/purple, she tackles all the major colors found in garden roses.
