Creative work is by definition a journey of discovery. It is always exciting and often daunting.
In four sessions, Kathleen takes students on a journey into her own creative process, from initially discovering the subject all the way through to making it visible in paintings and drawings.
Kathleen poses three important questions: the what, why and how. What is your subject? Why are you compelled to investigate it? How will you make the subject and your reaction to it visible in your drawings and paintings?
Kathleen tackles these and other crucial questions as she progresses through the phases of work. She walks through the inevitable ups and downs of building a foundation for a new body of work.
At the end of the workshop, you will gain a deeper understanding and confidence in your own creative process.
