Edges and Transition: At a Glance

Learn how Kathleen manipulates paint to build form and space.
Edges are an extremely important part of the language of painting. Where and how to use them is always a big question. Kathleen will describe some of the ways she tackles the challenge. Transitions of color and value are also a key element in effective paintings. Kathleen will go go step by step as she explains how she uses transitions when creating a painting.

Kathleen goes deeper into the subject of edges and transitions in the next workshop, Painting the Sky.
