Kathleen will show you how she approaches each decision and uses the principles of the Munsell Color System to simplify her process. You will:
- Revisit the principles of hue, value and chroma, introduced in Class 3
- Watch Kathleen demonstrate the process of "oiling out" on top of the dry underpainting from the previous class
- Learn how she applies the first layer of paint with a light touch and a limited palette
By the end of the class, you'll have the tools you need to establish your initial palette and lay down your first layer of color, with confidence.
