Drawing is the backbone of painting. Despite their delicate appearance, spring flower are powerfully designed forms. In this class, we will study their geometric structure using graphite. 

The slow revelation of the structure of spring flowers is one of the most satisfying experiences one can have as an artist. This practice has become an essential part of Kathleen's preparation for painting.  She is excited to share some of the insights she has gained through many years of study. For the class, she uses flowers from her own garden.
